Wells Park

Wells Park in Albuquerque, New Mexico delivers a bold, futuristic play experience shaped by eye-catching geometry and constant motion. Designed for children ages 2–12, with an adjacent section for adult exercise, the playground pairs angular forms with opportunities to climb, swing, and move in ways that feel both inventive and energizing.

Rising above the site, a massive Hedra® climbing tower anchors the design, connecting elevated pods and tunnels high above the ground. Below, a rubberized belt climber adds layered challenge, while a tall stainless steel twisty slide sends kids spiraling back into the action. Arched climbers and geometric Hedra® swing bays extend the rhythm of movement, offering options like the Oodle® Swing and Friendship® Swing for shared play. Nearby, a custom learning wall with play panels and DigiFuse® graphics invites children to explore the history of the area through hands-on discovery.

For those 13+, Wells Park features an array of HealthBeat® outdoor exercise equipment, and everyone will appreciate the SkyWays® shaded areas for cooling off on a hot day. As part of a larger park expansion with sports courts, dog parks, and a food truck plaza, Wells Park playground is part of a dynamic community hub where play, learning, and connection come together.
